Dear Rangers and Friends:
With a self imposed completion date of 4 July 2007, we are working fast and furious here at the 1st Ranger Battalion Memorial Site. As you can see from the most recent photos, our Rangers are involved from giving me advice, checking out the plant life to driving the forklifts! Everyone is getting a chance to be a part of history and make this Memorial a reality.

26 June 2007:
Work is fast and furious as our dedicated team of experts compete for operating room…….John L. Glenn Landscaping (John L. Glenn), Savannah, and a few of his growers donated this 18 wheeler of plants to the 1/75 Ranger Memorial. SODMAN Landscaping (Tommy Lewis), Savannah planted 29 palm trees - each representative of our 29 fallen Rangers being honored at the Memorial, while the paver work continues, installation by A.R.T. Paver & Stone L.L.C. of Savannah (Rose and Anedison Bispo). Carroll & Carroll, Inc. (Ken Pate and C. Arland Carroll) were also working to grade the area with the help of Atlantic Coastal Equipment and Rentals in Richmond Hill (Rich Ginder). Timothy Gay and Dan Gay, Thomas & Hutton Engineering, were on site to ensure all was going as planned. Thomas & Hutton Engineering has dedicated their time and resources to this project for the past five years. Our Rangers, as always, were there to give a hand.
